Wonderfully Made: A Faith-Based Dance Workshop

Join us for a three-day intensive designed to nourish both the artist and the soul. Rooted in the truth of Psalm 139, this workshop explores what it means to be created in the Image of God and how that truth transforms the way we move, create, and see ourselves in the mirror. Through technical training, creative sessions, and intentional fellowship, dancers will discover that their worth is not found in a perfect performance, but in the One who designed them.

Friday, August 21 | Ignite (6:00 PM – 8:30 PM)

  • 6:00 – 6:45: Welcome Party & Interactive Ice Breaker Games

  • 6:45 – 7:45: Introductory Contemporary Class: Focus on "Joyful Movement" without the pressure of mirrors.

  • 7:45 – 8:30: Session 1 - Lesson & Kick-off Devotional: Introduction to Psalm 139.​

Saturday, August 22 | The Deep Dive (10:00 AM – 2:30 PM)

​

  • 10:00 – 10:30: Morning Interactive Game

  • 10:30 – 11:15: Session 2 - The Vessel Of Worship

  • 11:15 – 12:00 Technical Foundations: An exciting dance class to Christian Music, Introducing Improvisation as Worship

  • 12:00 – 12:30: Catered Lunch & Bonding​

  • 12:30 – 1:15: Creative Workshop: A hands-on craft session to reflect on our theme and create a tangible reminder of the Truth.

  • 1:15 – 2:15: Choreography & Creative Worship: Start learning the Showcase piece.

  • 2:15 – 2:30: Afternoon Snack, Reflection & Prayer

Sunday, August 23 | The Commission (4:00 PM – 7:00 PM)

​

  • 4:00 – 4:30: Interactive Game

  • 4:00 – 4:45: Session 3: "The Mission." How do we keep this perspective as we enter a new school and dance season?

  • 4:45 – 5:15: Journaling/Devotional Activity

  • 5:15 – 6:15: Final Rehearsal for Showcase

  • 6:15 – 6:30: Break / T-Shirts Given Out

  • 6:30 – 7:00: Friends & Family Showcase: A short presentation of what they've learned.

Registration Details

​

The workshop fee includes the camp T-shirt, Saturday lunch and snack, and Sunday dinner. We believe that every dancer should have the opportunity to experience this truth regardless of their circumstances; therefore, financial aid is available for this camp.
