Get ready to fly! Our Acro workshops are designed to blend the precision of dance with the athleticism of acrobatics. Whether your dancer is just starting to find their balance or is ready to master advanced tumbling, these high-energy sessions focus on strength, flexibility, limbering and tumbling.
Beginner Acro Workshop
When: August 17, 19, 21 (M, W, F)
1:30-2:30 PM
Ages: 5-7
Cost: Early-Bird $65 | After 6/1 $75
This workshop introduces the "building blocks" of acrobatics in a step-by-step environment where every dancer can progress at their own pace. We focus on:

Core & Upper Body Strength: Developing the muscle needed for weight-bearing skills and safe landings.

Flexibility Foundations: Improving bridge position, shoulder mobility, and leg flexibility.

Primary Skill Mastery: Mastering skills such as forward rolls/somersaults, cartwheels, bridges, and basic balances.

Safety & Form: Learning proper acrobatic technique with spotting from trained professionals.​

Fun & Games: Obstacle courses and games, making building strength and skills fun!
Intermediate / Advanced Acro Workshop

12:30-1:30 PM
Ages: 8+
Cost: Early-Bird $65 | After 6/1 $75
This workshop moves beyond the foundations to challenge experienced dancers with more complex skills and transitions. We focus on:

Advanced Tumbling & Walkovers: Working toward or perfecting high-level skills like front and back walkovers, side and front aerials, and handsprings.

Balance & Contortion: Increasing hold times and stability for advanced handstands, forearm stands, and chin stands.

Acro-Dance Artistry: Learning how to seamlessly "melt" difficult tricks into lyrical or contemporary choreography so they look fluid, effortless, and professional.

Explosive Power & Soft Control: Developing the "snap" needed for tumbling and the silent, controlled landings required for the stage.
